Book Review “Metamorphosis”

2/5
Metamorphosis is an interesting book, to say the least. It is the story of a beautiful woman (Cindy Jackson) who is taken advantage of and left for dead by a corrupt politician to satisfy his own desires. Cindy with the help of her loyal friend David plots her revenge on her attackers and through a serum that David has created, turns into a beautiful version of herself. This is where Cindy/Cynthia become alter egos. The story follows her progression from an innocent rape victim into a vengeful personality and back again. Until her final metamorphosis takes place in the end.

This book speaks volumes on the issue of how power corrupts and innocence can quickly be lost. The plot of this book could be amazing. The layout of the book, however, is a bit choppy. The plot while good, is hindered by improper formatting and mistakes that leave the reader a bit confused. This book could be exceptional with a bit of editing and reformatting so that the passage of events flows more fluidly.
