Dylan’s Cosydoze is a wonderfully relateable book. As a parent, I have dealt with this exact meltdown many times. The rhythm of the story and the flow are exceptional. My son loved hearing it and related to Dylan. He has his blanket which he calls heya (because in Spanish it is cobija, and he only picked up the heya sound). He talked through the book about how he would feel if his heya was missing. The characters came to life for him and allowed him to feel the needed connection to hold a child’s interest. I highly recommend this book for parents with young children. Mine is 3-years-old, and he completely related to the characters.
