We Need to Stand Together

My heart is tired

     The chaos doesn’t cease

So many are burning

     Desperately crying for peace

The wrongs are mounting

     All done in justice’s name

So many are shouting

     Looking for someone else to blame

We are equally guilty

     For remaining completely mute

Society’s voices are needed

     When justice is the ultimate pursuit

What justice is served

     As more people lose their lives

They use our words 

     And their deception thrives

All that has happened

     Can never be undone

Our voices are better heard

     When we stand together as one

We must stand together

     For our voices to succeed

To stop the destruction 

     That is causing our nation to bleed
