spiraling into the
depths of love’s embrace
Passions flare,
igniting desire’s
flames burning
through to the soul
The mind cautions,
the body’s parental
advisories ignored
for pleasure’s respite
Senses awaken,
sloughing off the
melancholy in
desire’s mindless haste
Signals ignored in
search of the
ecstasy only one’s
body truly understands
The crash that’s
coming will annihilate,
but today…
