Symphonies sing the sorrow
The mind barely explains
An explanation never coming
To clarify the depths of these pains
Loss is necessary for life’s balance
The words inevitably ring true
Understanding makes no difference
For those left empty, feeling the loss of you
Angels rejoice in their treasure
The soul they get to keep
This is of no solace
For those left behind to weep
Though your spark has faded
Your light on earth remains
Giving hope of reuniting
When we too, shed off these earthly chains
